appearance- Yuu has short gray/black hair that sticks out everywhere because he hardly brushes it and rarely gets a haircut. His eyes are a dark brown color that almost looks like they are black. He never gives any of his emotions or feelings away with his eyes because they always have an uncaring and stern look. He stands tall at around five foot eight and he is lanky because he doesn’t eat as much as the regular teenage guy. Yuu’s look outside of school is very casual. He usually wears a pair of jeans or black pants and a t-shirt usually black. He also has a black and white scarf that he wears everywhere because it belonged to his mom. He doesn’t have much variety because he rarely has enough money to spend on “luxuries” like that. Others might consider him good-looking, but he’d actually get more attention if he looked more well-groomed.
personality- Yuu has had to take care of himself for a few years, so he is very independent and even a bit of a loner. The only person he cares about is himself and no one is important enough to him to think about too much. He is not afraid to talk to or approach someone, but he doesn’t really take the effort to put himself out there. He can be brutally honest at times and he doesn’t care what people know about him. He does not pick on others and if others try to mess with him he tries to brush it off, considering it would just be a waste of time to do anything back. He will not let other people push him around though because he is his own keeper and not anyone else.

good traits- Yuu is very independent and doesn’t need the support of anyone else, he easily shrugs off any rumors or harsh words directed towards him, he has a photographic memory and can remember almost everything, if he actually puts his mind to something he can do a decent job, he can be clever, and he knows how to survive on the streets.
bad traits- Yuu doesn’t talk too much which others might mistake as arrogance, His tendency to stay to himself leaves him no one to turn to in a really tough situation, he will do anything to make money besides selling drugs which gets him in troubles sometimes, he easily gets bitter towards those people who have a perfect family and get everything they want, and in school his thoughts usually wander off to what he needs to do later that day.

Fighting style- Yuu doesn’t like to fight because he doesn’t gain anything from it, but he certainly is not afraid to if he must. He is not afraid to fight dirty and will use any item he finds in the street as a weapon against his opponents. He will do anything short of killing the person not because he cares for their life, but he doesn’t want the police to get involved. He never took classes for any specific style, but he does use a combination of kicks and punches. If someone is bent on beating him to a bloody pulp, he would rather that person just kill him. He’d rather be dead than immobile for the rest of his life.
Character’s history-
Yuu had a normal life and a regular happy family until tragedy struck him at the age of ten. Before that incident, he hung out with many friends and was the most loyal and caring person. He loved music and playing sports. Often he would bring a CD player whenever playing a game of soccer or basketball with his friends. He was a carefree and happy-go-lucky boy and loved his younger brother very much. He didn’t change completely until the night of his family’s death.
Yuu was spending the night at one of his friend’s house while the rest of his family took a trip into the city. He didn’t find out until the next morning when he returned home that his mother, father, and little brother were all killed by desperate drug dealers who obviously needed money badly. When the police told him the news, the strongest emotion he felt was shock and anger. He was shocked that something could happen like that to him and he was angry at himself, the drug dealers, his parents, and the world. It was at that moment that he knew he had no one else and could only care for himself.
He started to take no interest in any of his previous hobbies and stopped seeing any of his friends. He hated the orphanage they put him in because people would always feel sorry for him. They thought something was wrong with him when he would sit by himself, but all he wanted was for people to leave him alone. He only had one foster parent during his time in the orphanage and it was a middle-aged guy that played tricks with fire. He admired the fire more than the man and even started practicing with it himself. It helped take his mind off of everything and it was an element he had control over. One day, when Yuu came home from school he found that the man was gone and even after a week he still wasn’t there. Yuu didn’t want to go back to the orphanage, so he decided he would just run off and live by himself. He didn’t want be handed off from home to home and neither did he want to start a life in a new family. That was the point when he started living on the streets and surviving on his own.
He knew he had to move to a different area because people would notice that he went missing and would be able to spot him easily He usually went from empty alleyway to alleyway, but only stayed there during the night when he slept. Throughout the day and partly into the night, he was busy making his money or stealing it. He still went to school every year, but only enough days that would still let him pass the grade. He didn’t like the high school he went to because he thought it was too strict and they wanted the students to pay for something different every week.
He dropped out and tried to find one that was more suitable for him and that was when he found out about Gakuin High. It wasn’t too far from his old school and it had a reputation for being rough and not one of the best. He knew it should be better, but if not he would just give up on school altogether. The only reason he goes to high school is to try to pull himself out of the streets, but if he tried and it couldn’t be done than there’s nothing else he can do but keep living the life he has been living.
Character’s family notes-

Takamasa- He was Yuu’s father and died at the age of 40. He was a simple loving man who worked as a manager at a family restaurant. Whenever he was around people, he could put smiles on their faces without much effort. He liked to spend as much time as he could with his family and would often plan small trips for them to be together. He was also soft spoken and would rarely yell at either of his sons. When Yuu was younger, he wanted to be just like his father because he admired his gentle ways and his ability to keep a family strong.
Miako- She was Yuu’s mother and died at the age of 38. She was the more outgoing of the parents and wasn’t afraid to be loud if she needed to be. She loved her husband and children greatly, but her love towards her children could at times be a little tough. She was the one who punished them when they were acting like bad little children, but she would also be the one to sing for them at night or help them pick out their clothes. She worked as a receptionist at a company, but she didn’t work too many hours so she could be home with the children more.
Hiroki- He was Yuu’s brother and died at the age of 9. He looked up to Yuu and tried to copy anything that Yuu did or said. Yuu protected his little brother from anything that might have given him harm and Yuu would deal with anyone that tried to mess with him. They still fought and bickered at times, but no one else was allowed to do the same. When Yuu lets himself look back in the past, the biggest regret he has was not being able to save his brother.
Character’s Neighborhood-
Yuu does not currently have a house to live. He resides in empty alleyways and moves around when he feels like it or when people take it over for their drug dealing. Sometimes he stays at his client’s house over night, but that wouldn’t be considered his home. He would someday like to have an apartment of his own if he ever earned enough money.

Yuu has many small odd jobs that he does. He will do errands for people who are willing to give him money for it and he will go as far as sleeping with people for money. He usually targets the middle-aged women and men who are either lonely or bored with their current relationship. When he is really in need for money, he doesn’t mind stealing it from unsuspecting people either. He can’t get a normal job as long as he stays in high school because he needs permission from the headmaster and proof of a home. He doesn’t want to go through all that work when he could make money other ways. It would be easy for him to get into drug dealing, but he vowed not to get involved with that.
Character’s transportation-
Yuu either walks to get everywhere or takes the bus if he has money. He can’t afford much else.
Dating status-
Yuu has never had a relationship and neither does he really want one. He is attracted to either gender, but he doesn’t ever take it much farther than that. He doesn’t have the time or the heart to care for someone.
Social Status-
Yuu likes being unnoticed and left alone for the most part. He doesn’t really want or need friends, but he doesn’t mind being talked to as long as the person isn’t being annoying or if they’re telling him useful information. If someone has a way for him to make money, then he’ll stay on their good side until he has the cash in his hands.
